IOE’s proprietary technology, optimizes and revolutionizes renewable energy and nutrient recovery. This technology meets both the letter and the spirit of resource conservation and carbon re-use. With this technology, IOE can:
- Remove non-organic solids from animal wastes for recycling as animal bedding, agriculture, landscape or other uses, prior to introduction into the digestion process.
- Digest animal wastes to reduce digestion volume while increasing methane gas mixture via the digestion process.
- Utilize production methane gas to generate renewable electricity, bi-product carbon dioxide and heat.
- Capture heat for use in the digesters and other product processes.
- Capture carbon dioxide, and convert it, through photo synthesis, to algal biomass.
Use digestion effluent, nutrients and minerals from the digestion process as elemental source material for production of algae.
